Girls Who Lead Workshop

Raz, Irene, and Sara join Rachel at Girls, Inc. to teach a workshop on stem cell biology to local high school students in collaboration with Her Rising Initiative and Girls Who Lead. We taught students about how and why stem cells develop over time into other cell types, and led them through an activity where they developed their own stem cell models.

Zwick Lab’s 1st Birthday!

The Zwick Lab celebrates one year at NYU Grossman School of Medicine! We got together with some lab friends for bocce, darts, and blew out the singular candle on our first birthday cake.

Lab Trip to Dia Beacon

  • The Zwick Lab at Dia Beacon.

The Zwick Lab took an upstate daytrip to Beacon, NY to unwind. Pictured here are works from Richard Serra and Kishio Suga on display at Dia Beacon. After the museum, the lab explored some bookstores, cafes, and antique shops on Main Street, stopping at Meyer's Olde Dutch for lunch. Getting some fresh air and seeing the last of the fall foliage was lovely 🙂
