Zwick Lab’s 1st Birthday!
The Zwick Lab celebrates one year at NYU Grossman School of Medicine! We got together with some lab friends for bocce, darts, and blew out the singular candle on our first birthday cake.

We have seasonal joint lab meetings with Dr. Ali May’s lab from Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine. Here we are at happy hour after our summer presentations by Raz and Yvonne.
Extremely excited to welcome Irene, our very first rotation student in the NYU Vilcek PhD program, to the lab this week!

Sean Thompson, PhD, has joined the Zwick Lab as a postdoc! His groundbreaking doctoral work at Washington State University studied Rete ridge formation in mammalian skin; we’re very excited to be welcoming him to NYC!

Fieldtrip to the New York Academy of Medicine’s remarkable Rare Books Room to learn about the etymology of the intestine for an upcoming literature review. Many thanks to Arlene, the NYAM Historical Collections Librarian, for hosting me for such a productive and fascinating visit. Stay tuned for our review…
The lab celebrates Dr. Zwick’s birthday! We had a custom swiss roll-shaped cake 😀
‘Housewarming party’ (and training) for our beloved microscope – one of our most precious tools for discovery in the lab.
